This may be the funnest card that I have ever created .. Donuts, Blends and a fun fold!
My monthly stamp clubs created this project as one of the make and take projects in August! This is an advanced project but I did a lot of prep for them and walked them through it. They loved seeing it come together and I heard all of them gushing at their card at the end of the night.
This card is a shadow box card that folds down to fit in a Medium envelope! Cute, right?!
A quick "card fold" search in Pinterest found this tutorial by Cheryll Miller of Sea of Whimsy. Thank-you Cheryll for sharing this brilliant idea!
Dolce Details
- You will need two pieces of cardstock: 6-1/4" x 5-1/2" each
- Score in at each side at 1/2" and 1"
- Adhesive together as shown below.
- It pushes down to fit inside an envelope but "pops" open as a shadow box that easily stands on its own
This card does not have an inside to write a greeting, so I stamped the back.

Being that this is an advanced project, I wanted to share the same card layout, stepped down. I omitted the fun fold and some layers for a quick and easy card.
