Watercolor Mason Jar - #GDP092

I just know you are going to be inspired to create this week when you see the challenge sketch from the Global Design Project, I know I was!

Steffi and I were on the Artisan Design Team together and I have always loved her work. She created this card for the challenge this week. I love, love, love this Jar of Love Stamp Set I could not wait to create!

Dolce Details

I filled my jar with watercolor!
First, I placed my stamp on a piece of watercolor paper, without mounting it to a clear block.

Next, I used a pencil and gently marked the outline of the stamp. This gave me a "boarder" for my water color.

I use my Heat Tool to dry the water/ ink. This pushes is around on the cardstock and creates some ridges in the watercolor finish - I love that look.
