Hi everyone! I hope that you had a great weekend. The weather here in Edmonton was beautiful. We went to the cabin and enjoyed some R&R. The kids went skating on the lake Saturday. It was so sunny and warm that the ice had started to melt, leaving a layer of water over it. The kids skated for three hours and came home soaked to the bone. There little toes and fingers were even wrinkled like they had spent too long in the bath! It gives me the warm fuzzy feeling that spring is just around the corner ... but I know that we still have about 2 months left of winter. This is just a quick little warm snap that is sure to end soon.
To kick off the week I am stamping with the Global Design Project today. It is an extra special challenge today. GDP072 is to CASE the designer Krista Frattin - me!!
Join the Global Design Project this weeks challenge.
Have you heard of CASE before? In the crafty world it means to Copy And Selectively Edit. You can find inspiration in a project - the layout, the stamp set, the colors ... the idea is to recreate a design you love but put a twist on it to make it your own.
I chose to CASE the layout of the challenge project. Here is what I created for you today:
These little banners come from the limited time Sale-a-bration stamp set Any Occasion. You can earn this stamp set for free when you place a $60 order (CAD + shipping & tax). It comes with 20 photopolymer stamps, giving you dozens of design possibilities to create adorable little banners!
I pulled some colors from the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper for my color combo today.
I created a scrapbook page and a Project Life page to match this card. After the weekend at the cabin I did not get my projects photographed before I had to schedule this post. I will share them with you later this week. Be sure to subscribe to the blog to get notifications of new posts. All you need to do is scroll to the top of this post and find the "follow by email" in the right hand menu.
Thank-you for visiting! Have a creative day!
