Night of Navy. Not a color that I use often but I fell in love when it was paired with Gold and Watermelon Wonder for the Global Design Project Color Challenge GDP053.
Here in Alberta, Canada fall means rain. We have had many wet days in the last few weeks and I had to use the new Weather Together stamp set and framelits.
This was the umbrella that I was envisioning ... I tried first to cut the umbrella top with Window Sheets but it was lost on the Night of Navy background. I cut a second umbrella top with Vellum and layered them together. It was the perfect combination.
The gold trim on the umbrella has an embossed pattern. The Umbrella Weather Framelits come with four different trim dies. I used one die to cut the shape and a second to emboss the pattern. I love what it adds to the umbrella!
