Hello my friends! Welcome to Monday and another week. This past weekend we went to the cabin for the weekend and enjoyed +20C weather! We cleaned the yard and enjoyed the great outdoors. Most importantly we spent some much needed family time together.
Last week I worked some long, long days. My taxes needed sorted and organized for the accountant. I always to leave it to the last minute - even thought I vow each year not to. On top of that, I released the projects for my upcoming spring retreat on April 23, 2016. With all of that I found my son telling me that I never play cars with him anymore. Sigh. The delicate balance of being a mom and a business woman.
Today I am designing for the Global Design Project. Take a peek at the layout challenge GDP030 for this week:
My card background was created by sewing two layer of paper together ... I cut up a SKETCHED POLKA DOT BAG and sewed one sheet of VELLUM (4" x 5-1/4") behind it. I love how the vellum behind made the polka dots pop on the bag.
Hike on over to the Global Design Project - you will find projects from the talented design team and projects posted from challenge entries from around the world. Each and every week I am blown away from the talented stampers out there.
Make this week a great one! Come back and visit soon!
