Stampin' Dolce: 12 days of Christmas - Day 1

Here in Edmonton it is unseasonably warm. It is still just below 0C but that is good for this time of year. We have not had any snow accumulation! Soooo odd! This makes it hard to believe that Christmas is just 39 days away!

I am happy to announce the Stampin' Dolce 12 days of Christmas to get you in the spirit! Watch for special blog posts each Monday, Wednesday and Friday until Christmas. Each post I will share crafty Christmas ideas and will have blog candy give aways each week!

Are you ready for day one??

I wanted a cute little gift to give at Christmas. Nothing too big, just a little "I am grateful for you" for teachers, the UPS guy, my hair dresser ... you get the idea.

This idea uses your left over Halloween Candy (you are welcome)!! Put a few treats into a Medium Clear Envelope and seal it up. I added a Tea Lace Paper Doily to the front with a cardstock banner and a few pieces of ribbon. I simply stapled these to the bag.

To finish it off I used the Big Shot and cut a few stars to add to the front. The beautiful color combination was inspired by my fellow Artisan Kimberly Van Diepen. She posted a cute project with these colors last week and I had to give them a try!
