Each month we create a wonderful selection of projects for you and Stampin' Up! shares them on their official Facebook page. I know that this monthly posting is always highly anticipated by our followers!
I have named this project Colorful Crackers! As a mom every time I hear the word Crackers I think of Jake and the Neverland Pirates on Disney Jr.. One of many catch phrases on that show is "Crackers"! They use is as you would say "Darn" (I would use a more R rated word here ... if you know what I mean).
One can never know how a cartoon can have an effect on you until you are a parent ... have you watched this YouTube video yet? Awe, Coconuts - I giggle every time!
Here is my project today! Yo ho, Let's go! ...
The sheets are 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" each. I simply folded the sheets in thirds to create the crackers. I did not even measure the thirds, I just grab em' and go.
Make sure you use Sticky Strip or Fast Fuse when you are securing the Designer Series Paper. It will give you the best holding power.
The cracker inside is a Gusseted Cellophane Bag (yes - Stampin' Up! sells these). I filled the bag with a few treats, tied a ribbon on each end and then cut the bottom fused edge off.
Add a little pizazz here and there and yo ho, you are ready to go!
The gusseted cellophane bag just slides in and out of the cracker.
Before I send you off to Lisa on the blog hop I wanted to share a treat with you! BLOG CANDY! This week I will be giving away the following bundle to one lucky winner ....
