Last week I was nominated by the wonderful Laurie LaRose to do a creative blog hop! Laurie and I have become friends over the years at Stampin' Up! demonstrator events. Last week Laurie blogged some adorable cards using our the Lets Get Away Project Life Card Collection. Hop over to Act Of Stamping to see these creations!

So what is a creative blog hop? Think of it as a blog chain letter. Each Monday a new blogger will share a creation with you! I posted a teaser pic on Instagram Friday night of what I was working on for today. Here is what I cooked up ...
The center of the flower was created using Silver Foil Sheets and the Cupcake Builder Punch. The black leaf was created using the Bird Builder Punch. |
I was inspired by the Hello Life Project Kit when I was designing projects for my upcoming Spring Retreat. The colors in this kit lead me to these card designs.
My monthly stamp club members will be creating these cards in March! My stamp clubs have a choice to create two cards or two 12x12 scrapbook layouts. The scrapbook layouts coordinate with this card design. You will have to come back and visit later in the week for that! I am just getting my photos on the layouts and then they will be ready to share.
Before I go there are two important things that I need to do for this Creative Blog Hop ..
First, I need to answer a few questions!!
1. WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON RIGHT NOW?
I am working on a project for the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team. We have a blog hop each Thursday and that keeps me busy creating each week!
2. HOW DOES YOUR WORK DIFFER FROM OTHERS IN YOUR GENERA?
That is a really hard question! Over the years I guess I have developed a "style". People always tell me that they know my work. I suppose, that sets me aside. I also like to try new project ideas. I stamp cards, scrapbook layouts, 3D items, gifts, mini albums ... anything!
3. WHY DO YOU CREATE WHAT YOU DO?
I create because I need to! Creating has always been a part of my life. It is a passion. As for what I create ... well that is a bit of my competitive side. I want to share it and get an exciting reaction! I love to think of new ideas, and challenge myself when I am creating, to do just that!
4. HOW DOES YOUR CREATIVITY WORK?
It usually involves late nights and Netflix! I set out with a dream of a finished project and then start pulling stamp sets, tools, paper ... sometimes the dream comes to life and sometimes it evolves. But in the end I have created!
Next, I need to NOMINATE ANOTHER BLOGGER to post Monday next week!
