Leave a holiday treat for neighbors with this candy cone! |
Sticking with this weeks favorite - Designer Series Paper - this cone is really very simple to make!
I cut a piece of DSP to 6"x6". Run a length of Sticky Strip or Fast Fuse along one side of the square. Roll into a cone shape. You may want to do a dry run rolling the cone to get the feeling of it. You know how unforgiving adhesive can be!
Inside I tucked a small Cello bag filled with a treat and tied with some ribbon. A hole punched in the back of the cone allowed a loop of ribbon to hang it from a door knob.
The fussy part was creating the Very Merry Christmas broach. Honestly, it does not even need that. They are just as cute naked filled with candy!
So do you forgive me after that project? Nooo?? Well how about a discount on Designer Series Paper?
Now?? Not quite? How about a free giveaway?
