A new month means a new box of Stampin' Up! product to play with from Mr. Artisan!! I have to say that I have been dying to play with the seasonally scattered stamp set from the Holiday Catalgoue since I first laid eyes on it in July at Stampin' Up! Convention.
The three stippled sentiments are just to irresistible! This stamp set easily can make three cards for three different occasions! 3 cards for 1 stamp set ... and 3 cards for 1 layout.
Technique Tips:
* I love the soft white detail on the back ground cardstock. To get this effect - gently rubbed a Whisper White Craft Ink Pad over the Crumb Cake Cardstock (after it was textured with the Big Shot). The key is gently. A soft rub over will allow the Craft Ink to cover the raised details and not the entire surface,
* The Coastal Cabana Cardstock was sponged around the edges with Bermuda Bay and a Stamping Sponge. This gives a frosty texture that I love! Do you sponge your edges? It seams to be a favorite for many people! In fact, I know some stampers that can not leave a piece of cardstock without sponged edges!!
It is time to hop over to Lisa Harlow and see what she has cooked up this week.
Thank-you for reading and have a creative day!!
