Yesh - I think I promised you this card on the blog for Tuesday! Ooops! I do have a great excuse ... It is spring break and my little "angles" are home! (can you hear the sarcasm??)
Being a work from home Mom, I rely on a schedule to keep everything running smoothly. This week has been crazy and I am so ready for them to go back to school. They are getting a little bit sick of each other and sick of me working. I think tomorrow we will have to have a Mommy and kid fun day to avoid a mutiny.
So my last post I showed off my new little nephew. This card was made just for him. The stamp set, Hello Sailor, was a free gift from Stampin' Up! at Managers Reception in Houston this January. The art work and pastel boy colors made it so baby. (Which was perfect because I do not own any baby sets right now!)
All of my cut little elements are mounted to a sheet of Vellum. When you are fastening the Vellum to the Whisper White Cardstock you need to be strategic with your Snail Adhesive. Make sure you are only adding Snail behind the elements. That way it will not "show" through the Vellum when assembled.
Behind the vellum is a little script from the Travel Journal Wheel. I stamped it in Smoky Slate.
What do you think? I would love to hear from you!
Thanks for reading! Have a creative day!
Krista
