Trying a new style. Risky, right!? You paint a wall the wrong color, groan, you need to live with it or worse, repaint. You buy uncomfortable shoes and you have soar feet with blisters. You try new dance moves ... yikes!
But sometimes it pays off! That new outfit or hair style looks amazing and everyone stops to tell you that you look great (who doesn't love that!). That home renovation leaves you warm and fuzzy every time you walk through the door! And those dance moves ... well, they can leave you looking like Jennifer Grey! (Dirty Dancing people!)
A trend right now in fashion, home decor and paper crafting is geometric's. Totally a new style for me. I was not sure how I felt about the trend. Instantly it reminded me of the 80's. Remember this?
I wanted to play with the Geometrical Stamp Set that I received from Stampin' Up! at Leadership 2014. Although I was unsure of this style, it was free ... so I had nothing to loose! Isn't that always the best way to try something new? I was inspired by the colors used in the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper to create this card ...
The irony? Now that I see the card next to the 80's photos above - it is like totally 80's! giggle! But I think that it was a success. I love the card! It is bright and fun. What do you think?
Thanks for visiting! I hope you have a creative day!
Krista
