So you want to see my Convention presentation projects?!

With out further ado .... I present to you my Main Stage Projects from Stampin' Up!'s 25th Anniversary Convention 2013!!!

I created about 10 projects for my presentation at convention. Today I will share Project #1. You will have to keep coming back to visit for the rest of the amazing creations! wink!

So Stampin' Up! gave me the assignment to design 5 Projects that focused on Accessories. You all know I love accessories!!! Fashion, Home Decor, Cards, Scrapbooking, EVERYTHING needs accessories, right?! I think the only challenge I had was not using too many accessories (it is that Stampin' diarrhea thing I joke about!)

Okay, Okay ... get on with it Krista!

My first creation is a Holiday Gift Photo Envelope!

Love it?! I know you do!

We send photos at the holidays and I am always looking for clever ways to gift them. Take a peek at the photo insert ...

I used the new Stampin' Chalk Markers from our Holiday Catalogue to sign our name on the Basic Black Card Stock. Did a little Stampin' with both of our Rotary Stamps (see the supply list below).

The accessories here are relatively simple. The show stopper was the silver star!

Our new Holiday Catalogue has silver and gold foil sheets. PERFECT for this star!

DIY Metal Star ~ How to:

o  Use MDS (My Digital Studio) ... our digital crafting software ...

create a 8.5x11 project and insert a 5 start punch

stretch the star to the size you desire

print it on computer paper

o  Trace the 5 point star onto the back of our Foil Sheets

 o  Use your Craft Scissors to carefully cut out the star

 o  Use a straight edge and draw a line from each point to each inside corner

o  Place the star face down on your Simple Scored Scoring Tool

Score each line drawn on the back of the star

o  Start folding the star along your scored lines

o  To finish, rough up with our Stampin' Sanding Block

 

I have made a few sizes of these and am loving them! Now I am not wishing away summer but ... I can not wait to display them on my fireplace mantel at Christmas!!!

For us demonstrators, the Holidays can be our busiest time of year. It is never to early to think festive. Too early for you??? Don't worry ... the catalgoue and I will be here when you are ready!
